RENOVATION work has started on the new Redland Green play park.

RENOVATION work has started on the new Redland Green play park.
The playground development, which began in September, is expected to take eight to 12 weeks to complete.
The play area will have new and renovated swings, a new entrance, two new pieces of sand play and climbing equipment, a new climbing frame, and new ramps for the zip wire.
In 2012, £110k from the council's capital funding was allocated to improve the park.
Paths and teen seating will be completed following work to the equipment. The teen seating is to be located in the tarmac area outside of the children’s play area.
Dependant on resources, trees will also be planted due to parents wanting more shade in the playground.
There is also discussion about a park noticeboard being installed.
