Bristol Concert Orchestra are performing at St George's Bristol on Saturday 1st December at 7.30pm.

Featuring Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto - with superb young virtuoso soloist Eloisa-Fleur Thom - and Engelbert Humperdinck's charming overture to Hansel and Gretel, this is a concert to delight the audience with melodic music. There will be a performance of Mahler's 1st Symphony, music which displays the composer’s work at his youthful and exuberant best, from the astonishing opening to the funeral march based on 'Frère Jacques', followed by the joyous finale.

There will be a retiring collection for Children's Hospice South West.
