THE Bishopton, Cotham and Redland Neighbourhood Partnership's Street Scene group is recruiting new volunteers.

Run by local residents Rob Umphray and Liz Kew, the group works tirelessly to eliminate graffiti from properties and street furniture; sweep up leaves and trim back overgrowth from roads and pavements; remove fly posting; pick up litter and arrange community tidy ups; and provide posters to help with issues such as dog fouling.

They are looking for members of the community to help carry out these tasks.

A meeting is being held for anyone interested in taking part at Boston Tea Party in Gloucester Road on Wednesday, April 29 at 6.30pm.
