A LOCAL opticians has been shortlisted for the 'Young Practice of the Year' award.
Lunar Optical, an independent practice on the Nevil Road junction of Gloucester Road, was founded by friends Jill Sunderland and Pam Eastman several years ago.
The opticians offers comprehensive eye examinations, both private and NHS, a wide range of stylish frames, designer sunglasses and all brands of contact lenses.
Now in its fourth year, the AOP Awards aims to celebrate the achievements of optical professionals and groups, who have gone above and beyond the call of duty over the last 12 months and deserve to be recognised among their peers.
Voting closes midnight on August 31. Winners will be revealed at a gala dinner and ceremony on October 23 in Birmingham.
