THE first term has just ended for the new V6 Sixth Form, a co-educational joint venture from Colston’s Girls’ School and Fairfield High School.

The post-16 centre alongside CGS on Cheltenham Road offers 26 different A-Levels and a growing number of vocational Level 3 courses.

V6 provides an inspirational environment where students can flourish and achieve their personal ambitions.

Kerry McCullagh, head of the sixth form and Vice Principal at CGS, said: “V6 provides a high quality co-educational learning environment for post-16 students that remains closely connected to Colston's Girls' School and Fairfield High School but creates the space for our students to develop themselves as young adults and prepare for independent learning and the work place.”

Amanda Bridgewater, Vice Principal at FHS, sais: “We are really excited to be working with Colston’s Girls’ School on this new venture; we both believe we can bring an exceptional amount of enthusiasm, passion and knowledge to V6, which will help create and sustain a happy student population, with a whole wealth of opportunities.”
