Have your say on improvements at Ashley Down

RESIDENTS can have their say over the design of a new play area and an improved access for the grounds behind the Muller Orphan Houses.

The drop in session will take place on Saturday, February 6 on Ashley Down Road, opposite the Co-Op from 11am until 3pm.

The new play area is intended for children up to age 13 and will cover an area of approximately 800 sq. meters of the total size of 11,000 sq. meters.

A new entrance linking Stoney Lane and the Green will be discussed as well. The work on that was stopped due to the lack of communication with the public about the designs of the gate.

Plans are in the last phase of consultation which runs until February 26. If no revision will be needed, work begins in April or May.
