COMMUNITY groups, traders and local gardeners will be adding a splash of green to the pavements on Glos Rd Central as part of Big Green Week.
Traders will be teaming up with gardening groups such as the Golden Hill Community Garden, Incredible Edible and Chelsea Fringe to create attractive, green spaces along Gloucester Road.
Planters, made out of recycled objects, will be placed along the street, with Room 212 planning a pop-up garden outside the shop.
Room 212's theme for this month is also (Re)Cycle to tie in with the city-wide event, which runs from June 14-22.
The gallery, which showcases work by over 100 local artists, will be putting on an exhibition of art, craft and gifts based on cycling and recycling.
Work by Room 212's featured artist, Jenny Urquhart, who creates vibrant paintings and prints of Bristol, often with bikes and recycled buttons, will be on display.
As well as showcasing (Re)Cycle art, Room 212 will be laying on events and talks to tie in with Big Green Week.
