The North Bristol Art Trail takes place at the end of November so you might be reading this in time to catch it.
Between 27-28 November over a hundred local artists show their paintings, jewellery, cards, ceramics and more in their homes and venues around Gloucester Road and beyond. The art trail is a perfect way to buy original art and Christmas presents directly from local artists as well as a lovely social occasion.
The North Bristol Art Trail covers a wide area from Redland, Westbury Park and Henleaze to Gloucester Road, Horfield and St Andrews.  Trail maps are available at a number of venues throughout Bristol to plan your route – check the website for details – or just look at the online map and artist listings. Up to date information will also be offered via Facebook and Instagram. If you miss the Art Trail there is a virtual gallery on the website with direct links to the artists www.northbristolartists.org.uk
The Prize Draw for the fundraising exhibition that was held at Room 212 takes place on the Sunday (Nov 28) of the North Bristol Art Trail at venue 50, following a cappella songs by 'Kettle of Fish'. Over 20 artists donated original artwork to raise money for local mental health charity Maybe Southwest including a bronze sculptor of a ram, paintings by Huw Richards Evans, Emma Catherine, Cathie Cooper, Jane Boot, Sarah Thorp and Jenny Urquhart and textile art by Jo Whiteland, Debbie Bird and Elizabeth Dymond.
Maybe Southwest would like to thank all the artists and everyone who bought tickets - they are thrilled by how much was raised to help with art therapy for adults and young people. Room 212 loved holding the exhibition and plans to hold more fundraisers in the future.
