'Call and collect' library service
Since lockdown began both Bishopston and Redland Library have been closed to the public. Some libraries across the city are reopening, but it hasn’t yet been possible to implement sufficient safety measures at Bishopston and Redland to allow a reopening.
While these libraries will remain closed, a call and collect service is being introduced, where people can request books over the phone or by email, with a maximum of five per person (or eight for children).
Provided you call beforehand to arrange a visit, you can return books or collect reserved or pre-ordered books, between 11am-4pm Monday-Saturday (except Monday at Redland and Tuesday at Bishopston). For information please visit bristol.gov.uk/libraries-archives
