Bristol hosts mayors summit

September 28 2018

Up to 100 mayors from around the world will participate in the Global Parliament of Mayors Annual Summit which will be held in Bristol this autumn (21 to 23 October).

The three day event, hosted by Bristol Mayor Marvin Rees, will focus on tackling key global challenges such as migration, urban security and population health.

Mayors from African, Asian, European and US cities will be focussing on finding new ways to collaborate and ensure that city networks are collectively heard within international frameworks, such as the UN’s Global Compact for Migration, to help tackle some of the most critical issues of our age.
